Review of British Columbia Utilities Commission by Employee

Posted: Tuesday, 21 January 2020 - Vancouver
Solid and stable company with very skilled and dedicated staff and great government incentives I was welcomed with open arms upon starting my position, training was sufficient and the transition into my role was fairly smooth. The directors and CEO are very professional, knowledgeable and willing to help in all possible ways. The whole staff (which is around 30-35 people) work well together and also have personal bonds which makes it a cheery place to work when stress levels aren't high. Incentives are plentiful and make it worthwhile in itself. Staff turnover can make it a challenge to adjust as much of the knowledge that survives here rest in peoples minds only. A lot of our work is based solely on experience and knowledge from past hearings and is carried over into new hearings.
